As I recall, C&L's original claims of 25 hp for both TB and plenum are basically over-stated. The car mags (that advertise these things) reported 14 hp for both (rwhp). All the dynos that I have seen are more like 10 hp. BUT, and I mean a big BUT, I often question dyno numbers for ANY intake mod. Think about it. A dyno does not replicate high speed air flow of the car moving down the road/track.

I personally believe that the gains are more live 15 hp. I read the article in MM&FF that you speak of, and I have to agree with the comments. Add, 4.10's and an X-Pipe and hold on tight.

When my car was stock, it ran out of steam shortly over 5,000 rpms. Now, as modded, it feels like it could pull to 7,000 rpms.

I have a bud with a 2000 vert (as I do), 5 speed with exhaust mods only. My car can run circles around him up high. (He has 3.73's thoygh). Now he is trying to set his car up just like mine.

I can't wait to add cams and heads...that would be da zhit!
