Trying to replace the fuel filter. Should be an easy job... I can't get the filter detached from the fuel lines. I pulled the clips, released the pressure as recommended, but can't get it disconnected. Pulling doesn't work. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? ![]() |

Your car has duckbill type line locks and you need to use a fuel line lock release tool. About 8 bucks at any auto parts store. Do not try and seperate them by yanking on them, you ruin the locks and it is a pain in the arse to replace the fuel lines.
