Carb'd modular
Just wondering if anyone here has carbed a mod motor, or seen one done? Kinda thinking if I dont sell this 5.4 I might build an intake and carb it. That might be a cool project for this winter. I bet these modulars would run like hell with a carb and a nitrous plate. Hmmmmm. What do you guys think?

Guess all the inventive people are out working on there cars.Well does'nt matter anyway, probly gonna sell it at Ennis. Just wanted to get a consensus on if it would raise your eyebrows if you did see someone do it. Always liked having the different ride in the group.

Shouldn't be all to hard. Have a sheetmetal intake made. Use a MSD Pro-Billet Front Drive Distributer, P/N 8711 Universal style. I'm sure it couldnt be all that hard to adapt it to a mod motor with a little thinking. Heck custom valve covers would make that work.

I thought about it, although never seriously pursued it. EFI intakes always seem to be a restriction. A short runner sheet metal intake with a single 4-bbl. would probably allow a modular engine to scream in the upper rpm ranges.
