![]() I hope someone can help me with this. I was crusing down the road today and all of a sudden BOOM no gears! I put in the clutch and tried to get it back in and nothing. I could actually spin the shifter around in a circle. It wouldnt engage at all. I managed to get it off the road and have it towed.
I'm guessing the problem is that the shifter became detached from the clutch somehow. I'm guessing there's a pin or something that holds the shifter to the clutch. What's the best way to approach this? What I figure I'll have to do is take the shifter assembly apart and try to re-connect it. Has this happened to anyone before? It's a centerforce clutch and it was working fine. Could it be the pin just slipped out or could it have snapped? Anyone that can help me with this, I'd appreciate it. Also, if anyone lives in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area of Pa who has a little more experience with 5.0's could help me, I'll buy you a case of beer or something. ![]() |
