Cold Air Induction Stage Two

RE: aFe 54-10292 - Stage Two Intake - 05 Ford Mustang V8

AFE advertises that this stage 2 unit does not require a computer flash, and provides an additional 19 HP.

Has anyone had any experience with this system, and does it create any issues with the OEM MAF?

Thanks

I've never been a big beliver in CAI kits.

Dyno tests with CAI kits alone on the older 2 valves told the story of: "Yea, it looks kinda cool under the hood, but you paid how much for 4 more horses at the rear wheels?"

The 3-valve engines seem to take a little more kindly to after-market CAI kits.
5.0 Mustang got an additional 13 horses on their best run with an 05 and the BBK piece.

I'd expect around a 10rwhp gain.

Most pieces are plug and play the MAF and T\B.

Honestly, If you're stock, a better first purchase would be a good shifter and 3.73s\4.10s...

Thanks for the info.

I have a 2005 Mustang GT, AUTOMATIC / Five Speed. As you know, Ford advertises 300HP with regular gas. I don't want to loose regular gas vice mods that require a computer reflash and premium fuel thereafter.

When I saw aFe's ad, it sounded like a nice little bump in HP without the computer flash. I have never done anything with mods before, so it's all new to me.

Thanks again.
