![]() As far as performance, you would probably get the same from the stock airbox with a K&N and the air silencer removed. I have one and it looks and works great. Stay away from BBK CAI kits if you can. They don't fit nearly as well.

![]() Yes, I can vouch for this. I have a K&N with a drop in filter, and my silencer removed, and I can say that it works real well. I felt a nice gain in horsepower. I am thinking of getting a MAC Cold Air Induction for the looks however.

![]() i have the Mac. all i bought it for was looks. i didnt notice ANY difference at all. if you want it for looks, then buy it, but i think you should put it where it is more useful.

![]() I agree with the others. I have the CAI kit on my 89 and the power difference is hard to verify, but it looks great. Good luck!

![]() like everyone else, I didn't really notice any horsepower increase. One thing I did not like about the kit was there were 3 bolts holding the tube from the mass air meter to the bracket that mounts to the fenderwell, unlike everyone elses where that part is welded. One of the nuts on the other side of the bracket was hitting the edge of the cut out in the fenderwell so I had to get my grinder and make a small notch. I bought a 75mm Pro-M Bullet mass air meter later on and found out that it was too long and I had to cut about an inch off the tube that goes from the meter to the TB. That's just my experience with them, it's possible that maybe I got an older revision kit or something, but I think I'm going to stick with BBK from now on.
