Post SN-92,SN-93,GSS Paxton Ball-Drive Guys Step INSIDE

Simple question guys..
How the heck do you guys see if it's full of transmission fluid(or whatever your using)referring to the fluid level in the Paxton of course..

I checked mine this weekend b4 going to a car show and it's hard to see on the dipstick. It's supposed to be level with the top line..just wondering how good you guys can see this..

Although I haven't had one on my car, I did have an SN93 that I was going to use before I bought the Novi (& then sold the SN93). I recall the same problem.

I thought about painting the dipstick flat black so that you could see the level easier but I'm not sure if the paint would come off due to the oil & heat.

It may be worth a try if you can find a flat coloured paint that won't come off.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that your oil level shouldn't be dropping at all because it is a self contained unit.

If you do notice a drop, check for external leaks & leaking past the impeller shaft seal as evidenced by oil in the discharge tube.

Are you using Ford type "F" or Paxtatrac?

Cool

I'm using Ford type F transmission fluid.

It's not leaking or anything,it's just a pain in the @ss to read the fluid level

*LOL*
