Question Comp Cams

I just installed a set of comp cams part # 102600 and the matching Springs part #26113 In my gt.

Problem is when i started it up it sounds like there is a valve lash adjustment problem
Comp said they are a bolt in part and no shimming of the lifter is needed.

Someone told me that with the new springs that the seat pressure is greater then 80lbs. stock lifters can only handle 80lbs max before they collapse. He said I probably collasped all the lifters.

I read in the latest issue of MMFF that a place called second street speed is making a set of solid lifters and roller rockers that are supposed to add 30-40 hp. They will be avaliable the second week in september. I called and I am on the list for a set.
Only problem is they cost $1750.00 for sohc and $3500.00 for dohc.

But do any of you have any info on these comp cams and the noise they produce.
Is it normal or did the lifters collapse.
The car runs great with a great notice in power gains. Its just that the valve train is a little noisy.

Any help or info is appriciated.
