Cool crane cam dyno results are in ,kind of?

I went to get my car dyno tuned today but didn't get any tuning
something came up and he couldn't burn me a chip they gave me 3 pulls so he could get a baseline and have a program ready to try when i go back in two weeks. I made 285rwhp and 303rwtq. so I'm hoping i can hit the magic 300rwhp with a chip? the only mod I've done is the crane cams since my last dyno time. here is a direct comparison of stock 99 cams and my crane cams. I did have a little tuning done to get the 271rwhp(via timing adj and fuel psi reg) but the 285rwhp we didn't touch a thing. fyi.

Did you post prior to this about Crane Cams for a Mod motor? I thought I saw a prior post.

Anyway, I checked the Crane site and couldnt find any cams for the Mod motors. Are yours a Custom grind? If not, can you steer me in the right direction. How much did they cost ya? I'm considering camming my 2000 GT, if I find a good price of course.

i don't think i posted earlier. crane doesn't advertise 4.6 cams. you basically send them your cams and they regrind them and send them back. I had an extra set of cams so i sent them in and then swapped the cams when they came back. it takes roughly 3 weeks mailing it on the ground. they are the cheapest I've found. it cost $305 for everyhthing. call the tech line and ask for dave maxwell he has the hook up for the mod motors. you may also want to consider a chip with the cams as my car does stall once in awhile at a stop light. fyi.

::Good looking NA 4.6er:: Thanks

Your getting some awesome numbers there. Where did you go for the dyno this time? I really want to get back to the dyno and the track as soon as I can. My car is finally all up and running now so I am ready to go whenever.

285rwhp w/ out tuning is awesome!
