dad got his car back

dad got his car back from the shop today and ford droped in a remanufactured (sp) motor car seems to run good but was wondering if you can tell the difference 'tween 96 heads and 00 heads with out removing them

Don't know off hand...

If nothing else see if you can find a part or VIN number on it.
