Default Difference bet. '99 Cobra muffs and GT muffs?

Anyone know the difference between the mufflers on a '99 Cobra (pre and post "fix)" and a '99 GT? Flow better or the same? Sound different on the same car?

I thinking about putting my Cobra mufflers on my wife's GT.

Thanks all.

Not to be off topic but..why not just go with an aftermarket muffler. They will most likely out flow a stock muffler and sound much better.
My preference:

Magnaflow stainless exhaust with MAC stainless mufflers...

For some examples...

I don't think there's any diff b/t the 2 mufflers. Only diff at the end of the 2 cars is that the Cobra has IRS so exhaust is routed under rear whereas on the GT it goes over like the Fox 5.0s.

My stock 01' cobra sounds considerably meaner than a 99+ stock GT. I dont know if this is cause of the extra HP or if the mufflers are different. I bet they are different.

Cool

The Cobra should sound alot meaner than the GT! Remember to take into account those extra 16 valves that the Cobra has over the GT. More air in, means more air out right?? Just a thought!!
