![]() In the spec sheet, curb weight on the 99
CobraCpe is 3430 lbs....do you add to that: coolant+oil, then amount of gas...that would bring it to ~3450+45(1/2 tank gas)=3495? I going to try to syncronize a G-TechPRO with my dyno results, to evaluate any future mods. I know to add driver's weight...I could use reverse engineering(trial & error) with the G-Tech, since I am working with known dyno results. <C> 99CbrCpe 280.1rwhp/289.0rwtq k&n filter, no mods |

![]() The Curb weight includes oil, coolant, etc.
Just add the driver's wait and you will be fine. I could never get my GTEC's Dyno to work right. I had 314rwhp and all the GTEC showed was 265rwhp. Maybe you will have better luck. ------------------ '94 Cobra 308ci, ported GT-40 heads, Crane 2031 cam .513"/.529" lift 276°/282° duration, 70mm TB, Custom 80mm MAF, JMS chip, Vortech S-trim 8#, MSD, TREX fuel pump, Accel coil, 3.55's, FMS 1 5/8 headers, BBK Offroad H-pipe, and 2-chamber flows. 1994 Mustang Cobra Check out the pics of my Motor Buildup! |

![]() Rebe179...
It looks like you showed -49rwhp..Gtech v. dyno results (weight critical factor w/Gtech)... but I think you have to adjust the readings for wind resistance...dyno would read higher than real world driving because of no wind resistance..also dyno is corrected for perfect conditions & altitude, temp. etc. for stadardized comparisons...I don't know how the Gtech handles this, I haven't gotten it yet & will have to read instructions...but I figure if I always Gtech using same gear(probably 2nd for rwhp), and consistent curb weight & climate conditions...I should get a baseline to measure my mods...How did your Gtech 1/4 ET & trap speeds compare with time slips & what gear did you use to measure your rwhp? <C> 99CbrCpe 280.1rwhp/289.0Tq k&n/no mods |

![]() Well, I never have tested the 1/4 times w/ my GTEC. I believe that the GTEC has a more accurate ET than the track because the track just estimates your time. The GTEC will also be off 3-4 mph on your trap speed.
