Default DOHC Heads

Will DOHC heads off of a '98 cobra engine fit on a '98 SOHC GT block?

all heads are interchangeable but you will also need all the diffrerent covers, intake manifold, throttle body . I think that the timing chains are even interchangeable but the DOHC uses a polished chain. I'm not sure what your compression would be with the 98 pistons, but i'd check into it.

98 cobra heads have a 52cc chamber and 98 gt heads have a 51cc chamber so your compression would drop very slightly.

So with my saleen thats only a sohc 281, I can bolt up to be a DOHC with the right componets I understand that. However Would I have to change anything in my wiring harness, and ecm (comp)Thanks,oh and this is my first time lookin around on here, very good stuff here, also I am planning on runnin this engine up to around 400 to 500hp max, and I have a bad clutch right now, would you steer me in the right direction to a good performance clutch on the inexpensive side, on a budget right now, and only pushin approx 340hp at the moment. I just need a good enough clutch to handle a couple minor bolt ons, around 400hp for now. Sorry for the mix up.. Thanks in advance for the replies.
