Post Driveshaft removal?

What tools do I need? I've gotta drop the trans, so can I get away with just doing that end, or will it be in the way when I have to slide the trans back and down?

Thanks

I think you will have to drop the rear of the driveshaft too because you need room to pull the front of the driveshaft out of the tranny. I hope I understood your question right.

It seems as if you did, as that's what I wanted to know. Thanks!
