Electric water pump. Any problem w/ U/D pulleys?

I've been eyeing the Meziere electric water pump but I wonder if it is compatible with U/D pulleys. Is this an issue?

Cheers

I'm not compeltely sure if it's compatible with underdrive pulleys or not. I would think that it would be. The new unit is suppose to increase what 10hp? Pretty trick piece if you ask me. I have a electric water pump on mine and love it. Keeps the water relatively cool too. Runs around 190* all the time.

I was thinking about that piece too. I'm still not sure how much I trust that function to a DC current. The only problem I would forsee with pullies is you are putting extra strain on the alternator. I might change that pulley back to stock.

What's the rated life of those things? They turned me off for a daily driver before because they didn't seem to last very long.

They don't wear out that easy. Their very reliable and very dependable.
