Well to be honest.. I'm not after the highest numbers... simply because I am in California, have to pass the test every year! :(

So I am pretty much just looking for the sound and small gains in numbers... but must still be sniffer friendly.

The VT cams are out.. they are way to big from what I've heard. Thats why I think I have to go with the comp 268 instead of the 274h or the 270ah

Some how I have to find a way to hear all these cams and also see which ones will still pass smog out here in CA

DAMN SMOG!!

Here Here is the thread. The first post says it all. 00 GT Only mods are VT stage II cams, valve springs, and flowmasters. 27.4 hp 11.4 tq.

The stage 1's might be able to make smog, but there is still some debate on that, as no one has said wether or not they could pass.

I totally understand your need to stay smog legal. Texas (mostly Houston) has some serious smog standards.

After watching this vid, my delima is now do I want the all out loundess of the SLP (accompanied by the sloppiness of the SLP) or do I want the loud as hell, but clean, sound of the MAC catback. I am really torn between the two.
