Few questions on a '97 convertible

Hi guys, new here and new with the 4.6L. I just purchased a 1997 mustang convertible and have two questions:

1) how do i put the top down? I know its winter and i won't need it for awhile but I am having trouble dropping the top.

2) how do i turn on the foglights? I cannot figure that out either.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Re: Few questions on a '97 convertible

Things required to lower the top; Emergency brake must be on!!!, Key in the run position or car running, lower all four windows (optional) release the left and right side top latches at the front near windshield. activate top switch loctaed in center console.....down she goes! Good luck.!!
The E-brake on is manditory...why...to prevent people from lowering their tops while moving in traffic! and preventing damage to conv top linkages.

Fog lamp operation requires the headlamps to be turned on first. Also make sure the high beams are not on as this will cancel out the fog lamps.

Thanks! The e-brake not being up was the reason I couldn't get the top down.

I finally figured out the fog lights myself basically from sitting there and pressing every button until they came on. :D

OK, now back to pimpin' the ride
