Default 77' 302 swap in 87Gt questions, please help.

I searched the forum first and got no where, just a few things I already know, my questions are very simple. First I have a freshly rebuilt 1977 302 that I acquired for free, has TRW 9:1 pistons. I wanted to put it in my 87 GT. I know that pre 81 302's and all 351's have to have a 28oz imbalance, and I know I'll have to get an aftermarket flywheel to match with 157tooth 10.5" clutch, but I just have a few more questions...

1) the 77 motor has the dipstick in the timing cover, can I use this timing cover with the serpentine belt system?, will it be compatible with the fox body oil pan? It appears to have the same bolt pattern and accessory bolt holes as my 87 timing cover. I heard that all the 302 timing covers were the same (but just had the dipstick hole for pre 81, and the fuel pump hole wasn't machined in fuel injected 302's). So I'm assuming that a 79 and a 80 5.0 had the dipstick in the timing cover and still had the same double sump oil pan?

2) As with the 351 swap, will I need the crank pulley spacer to run the serpentine belt system?

3) can I use the fox body oil pan with the 77 motor's two piece rear main seal?

Stupid questions I know, but I just want to be sure. Thank you in advance for any advice.
