ffrp aluminum drive shaft
I was looking into getting a ford racing performance drive shaft for my 96 gt. I was wondering if anyone was having any problems with it. Someone I talked to said that it was rubbing up against the e-brake bracket.
thanks, MonroeGT |

Re: ffrp aluminum drive shaft
Maybe if you went with an aluminum flywheel you would notice a difference in the drive-line, but just changing out the driveshaft won't give you much...
There are other mods in that price range that would give you more...

Re: ffrp aluminum drive shaft
I've Got One On My 96gt...no Problems W/ Install, Did It Myself W/ Common Tools In About 10 Minutes. Didn't Notice Any Improvement In Performance At All. Actually, Low End Grunt Suffered, But Sotp Felt A Quicker Spool Up In Rpm To Torque Sweetspot Maybe. To Be Honest, If I Had It Over Again I Would Probably Pass.

Re: ffrp aluminum drive shaft
I had one and also had not problems. The one thing it helps is that if you have gears some cars get a vibrtation for the gears. The Drive shaft helps you get rid of the vibration.
