![]() I'm gonna call C&L and ask what size MAC TB that was cause if its just about a stock 97 gt same motor in my 96 and with the 70mm tb plenum gave 7-10 horse and like 10-15 torque dyno tested that might make me feel alittle better about the plenum sitting in my room!!!

![]() Those numbers are not too helpful without air fuel curves. Any gains could have simply come from them leaning out the A/F curve. I know they "claim" it was kept the same, but I like proof. Yes, I am skeptical of this product on 96-98 cars. A couple HP, maybe. 7-10hp, doubtful.
Plus, they are recording gains for parts of the graph where the TC wasn't even locked up. 15 ft #'s gain, lol. How many stock, auto, NPI 4.6's lay down 320+ ft lbs to the wheels at less then 2000rpm. That alone shows me that they are trying to pull a fast one over on customers.

![]() Hey guys, I have a 2000 GT, and perhaps I don't understand the differences in the power plants between my car and yours, however, I seem to have gotten pretty good results with the C&L plenum. I have very few mods, as you can see below, but my car seems pretty quick as compared to stock. I have noticed that it just seems to pull better all the way to redline.
My 1/4 mile times are in the very low 14's at 98 mph. I should be able to break 14 real soon with just practice and my 0-60 times are 5.55 to 5.65. This seems to be a marketed improvement over stock of mid-14s and 0-60 of 5.9. BTW, I have a 5 speed convertible, so I am pulling a little more weight. I think people should be skeptical in general, and I think this debate is healthy. I wonder is C&L would take back products if you are not satisfied with results. I will be adding the rest of C&L's intake bolt-ons very soon (Mass Air Kit), and I am looking forward to see how that helps. I really think that when that I happens, I will be taking advantage of the plenum and 75 mm TB that I have and will hope for even more improvement. Good Luck!

![]() Big difference in powerplants, you have PI heads which is 45 more horsepower over 96-97 and 35 more horsepower more then 98's.
