Post First Event Win!

Yesterday at the Mod Motor Shootout I won the 2V NA class!

It definately made that 11 hour drive there worth while. I was a little concerned about the field since my best times where done 100lbs lighter than the class minimum and there are a few guys in the 12's at or above that weight.

But it all worked out in the end. My best ET of the weekend was a 12.96@103.66 with the added weight in the car. During qualifying and eliminations my best ET was a 13.01@102.9x during my first round bye run.

All in all a very good weekend, for those of you that didn't go to the shootout you missed a chance to see the biggest names in Modular racing. I won't even hesitate to attened next years event.

Thumbs up

Congrads on your win. What kind of RPM's are you launching your car at? Judging from your Moroso link, it looks like you're getting good weight transfer. Those are pretty good dyno #'s judging from your mods...

I usually leave the line at 5-6K depending on track conditions.

Any reason why you didn't go with Lakewood 90/10's (I'm assuming this may be your street car)? Also, do you remove your front sway bar at the track? Sorry for all the questions, just curious...I plan on making similar mods to yours in the future (including a headswap) and would like to see similar results...

crumbie, I went with 70/30's because I already had them on my other car but didn't need them, otherwise I would have used 90/10's. I run no sway bars at all front or rear and yes this is my daily driver 75 miles round trip a day.

congrats mustang92 those are awesome et's and mphs, especially for your mods. my hats off to you. that pic. is awesome!! you can see air under the one tire! your definately getting the power to the ground. I'm ordering my lakewood shocks tommorrow! do you think i should get the 90/10's, because it looks like your 70/30's are doing a pretty good job? my car is a daily driver. congrats again

I know others that use 90/10's on the street and you can't even tell the difference. I would have gone with them myself but I already had 70/30's so I went with them.
