Question First Mod

I just got a new 2001 GT 5 speed Convertible. I was wondering where to start. Suspension or Motor?? Should I hook up the turns or do all the basic bolt on to the motor, mass air, t/h, pulleys, intake along with gears, and a shifter???

I did the suspension first on mine, but it is all a matter of preference.
As far as making it quicker, your best bet is with gears, underdrive pullies, h- or x-pipe, and a timing adjuster to start.
