Default FRPP (roller rockers)

This is pretty much 2 questions, first, what are some good aluminum roller rockers? I know Jesel's make a good product, I just don't have that kind of money to spend, I can afford to spend $400 at max on a set though. I have the chance to get a decent deal on a set of FRPP 1.6 Aluminum roller rockers that supposedly have 2,000 miles on them. My dad (who has been a performance engine builder for the past 25 years) says it's a good idea to put 1.6's on the intakes and 1.7's for a street car. I just wanted to get some of your guys feedback on this issue, thanks. ~Brian

the FRPP's will be plenty for your combo. Go with a 1.6 for the street. I don't know any specific's about your motor and such..but i'd say 1.6 is all you'd need.

Motor that is in the works
331 Stroker
Stock Block
Probe Stud Girdle
Scat Forged Crank
Scat Forged H-Beam Rods
SRP Forged Pistons
AFR 185cc or Brodix ST5.0 Heads, not sure yet
Edelbrock Performer RPM EFI Intake

That should be enough info, right now I just got done baking/glass beading the block and it's time to order my rotating assembly and stud girdle so I can machine it. ~Brian

Cool Rocker arms

I would use Dove performance roller rockers. We have used them for many years without any problems. Are the heads your going to use going to bolt down style or stud style? I would recommend 7/16 studs. These are available for about 300.00.
