![]() Hey guys,
I'm new to Mustangs and have a intake question. Will a 98 cobra intake fit on a 98 GT without having to change the heads etc? If so what is involved with making the change. This is purely a looks only upgrade i'm looking for. Any power increase would be welcome, OF COURSE. Thanks for any help! |

![]() Nope it won't work. You'd need the whole upper end of the Cobra motor to work on your GT motor. The intake has to be with the cobra heads.

![]() Yes, 96GTS is correct. You can put the Cobra 4V heads on a GT's iron block and the intake manifold would work then on your car. I've not seen this done but it will work.
