Question Gear noise?

I am going to swap my gears out in my f150 from a 3.55 to 4.10's. I was told by the guy I might have do the work that after they are put in I should expect to hear a slight roaring noise, mostly when I back off of the gas. Does this sound right or should I go elsewhere?
