Gears
If I go with a set of 3:73's or 3:55's how much should i expect my rpm's to go up on the highway? My car is a daily driver 30, miles to work and at 70MPH I'm at 2100rpm now
It's also a auto with overdrive, how will that be effected? ------------------ 1999 GT AODE ,MAC cold air kit,ATS-III seq. turn signals |

I have a 99 GT auto with 3.73 gears and my rpms at 70 are 2500 with 25.53" tires. I have can still hit 115-120 in 3rd gear with the 3.73s. It will make a slight difference in performance, but the gears with a converter will make a night and day difference. Set some money aside for a converter after the gears and you won't be sorry.
