Default glasspack mufflers

hi everyone, i have a 02 gt, currently with 2 chamber flows. i want it louder but i dont want to mess around with the o2 sensors and mess around with my warranty by putting in a x pipe. someone suggested to me to change my flows and put glass packs on. i need all your opinions on this please, will glasspacks sound good on my car? do you guys recommend changing from the flows to the glasspacks? and also any suggestions will help too if anyone has any idea what i could to raise the sound without messing with the warranty stuff, thanks alot guys, take care

Glasspacks are the biggest power robbers EVER. If you want a good sound go with a Dynomax Bullet. Their a glasspack shape but their hollow inside and flow like a river. I have them on my car and picked up more bottem end than when i had open headers.

Eric: Aren't those meant for racing? Usually that constitutes illegal on the road, right?

apowers the bullet mufflers are pretty loud at high rpm's. But cruising speeds their not all that bad. I think you'd be fine with them.

What about the single chamber flowmasters? They should be louder, plus still have the flowmaster sound.

I can almost guarantee you..that the bullets are louder than the 1 chambers and ALOT cheaper. Bullets only cost about $35 a piece.

Default bullets and 1 chambers

everybody thanks again for replying. the big question is though, which muffler will sound better, the 1 chamber flows or the dynomax bullets? thats cool that the bullets are louder, but i still would like to keep that flowmaster sound, do the 1 chamber flowmasters still carry with them that flowmaster sound that is heard in the 2 chambers? thanks again everyone, let me know what you think

I would think no. I have a friend that has 3-chamber flows, and his car is quiet until he really gets on. I would think they would be a lot louder, and a lot more "straight-pipe" sounding. I know you don't want to void the warranty, but an o/r H pipe will get you the loudest sound.

the bullets will have a deeper roar to them. The one chambers sound like a dump truck going down the road.

i'll try to look on the net and try to find some. The bullets sound like a slightly muffled open header sound

Why would you want a stock stang so loud?

The best muffler you can put on your mustang would be magnaflows. They are the same as the dynomax ultraflow. Except they are better in your case because the internal flow pipe curves smoother than the dynomax. I've got magna flows on my 02 GT. I could send you a clip of how it sounds. You'll need quicktime to play it, it is 1mb download. I'll try and post it on my site for you guys if you want.
