U have to have at least 1500 posts. Then it will appear. Remember, no post count, but yet it still counts. We still have a post count though, it's in your profile.

I think there might have been some place to type it in before, because I have checked a few peoples profiles that have custom messages above the avitar. And some of them don't have anywhere near 1500 posts yet.

I'm jealous. I'm sick of being a "participant" But I'm not going to post w**** to get up to 1500.

I have well over 2000 posts on here, but mine won't show up either. When this new look first came out I changed mine, but the option to do so has since disappeared.

If you look at your profile, it says you are at 1245 posts. When you reach 1500, you should be able to change it. A while back, before my time here, Dan allowed everyone, regardless of posts, to change their heading above their avatar. Take care, Keith.

People who were registered before the title option was changed to 1500 posts got to keep their custom title. Grandfathered in. They already had it so it stayed. That's the reason!

That is crap. I would be more likely to make a lot of useless posts in order to get a custom status message than i would just so that i could say OOOOO look at me, I have more posts than you, OOOOOOO. Maybe it should be based on how long you have been registered rather than how many posts you have.
