new exhaust 2001 gt
I'm want to put a set of series 40 flowmaster mufflers on my new 2001 gt. Getting the mufflers put on isn't a problem for me. I was wondering what this was going to do to the car - such as the check engine light issue. Is the check engine light going to come on? I have heard of mil eliminators. If I get the new mufflers and the engine light comes on, then do I need to put the mil eliminators on? If so, then how? I am not familiar with putting the mil eliminators on. I don' t even know where they are supposed to go. I do know that I want some awesome sound and flow from my car. If any one can give me a procedure on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated.

You will only need to use MIL eliminators if you go with an offroad
X or H pipe. If you are only putting on the Flows, you will be fine. Your check engine light will only come on if you remove the catalytic converters. Hope you enjoy the new sound!!
