Addition to PLEASE HELP!
My Car is a 2004 Mustang GT. It is an automatic. Also to give a picture of what happened, when it shifted it was like the pedal depressed itself, like it does when you hit resume on the cruise control. Thanks for your help. I appreciate everyone.

Dont takes this the wrong way but this sounds like BS
there is no way for the pedal so depress itself that I can think of. They only time I have EVER heard or seen this was in the movies. Now to start Did you have the Cruise on

i have heard about problems in the past with people and their cruise control. i actually know someone who was stuck driving on the highway for 8 hours because the cruise control (found out later thats what it was) was messed up, but i havent heard about this happening on a ford. but he was also using it at the time, it didnt just turn on by itself.
