i say go with the 7-8 dollar robert shaw 180 tstat, and its a piece of cake, the tstat housing is that aluminum piece that the radiator hose conects to on the intake, is held on with 2 LONG 10mm bolts, pull them out and youll see the tstat right there, R&R and put it back together, USE A TORQUE WRENCH WHEN TIGHTING IT BACK TOGETHER otherwise youll have yourself a cracked intake rather soon. if your replacing the tstat nows the best time to replace your coolent, drain it out from the little plug on the bottom of the radiator before you pull the tstat housing, dont want to end up with a mess now, do ya? total time probably less than an hour
