How much does a 97 Cobra weigh??
Does anyone know how much a 97 cobra hard top should weigh? I don't have access to a scale and want to know an approximate weight. thanks.

A buddy of mine that had a 96 Cobra hardtop weighed his in at 3400lbs.

I figured it would be around 3400. A friend had his cobra dynoed at 276 RWHP and I wanted to see how accurate the E/T HP calculators are. Looks pretty close to me. I just had mine weighed 2 onths ago before I moved and it weighed 3200 lbs approximately, but I had no jack, spare tire, and an off road H pipe.

cobrayankee, how much fuel did you have in the car? That seems extremely light for that car or any SN95 accessorised/loaded (pw, pl, etc.) stang. Not saying it's not. It's just extremely light.

Its also the piping too that is lighter than stock. that's what it weighed though and I had about 2 gallons of gas only. I still have the weigh receipt. I had to do it when I moved so the Air Force would pay me by the pound for what I moved. I was surprised too, but didn't argue with them. More $$$$$$ in my pocket.
