flowmaster 10 series 1 chamber
whats up everyone, i have 02 gt. i currently have the 40 series flowmaster 2 chambers with the stock pipes and stock tips, i just welded in the new mufflers. i want to make my exhaust louder though, i found these 1 chamber flowmasters, that are supposedly almost as loud as getting straight pipes. i just wanted to know of anyone here who is using the 1 chambers? also i want to know any recommendations, if i should change and get these 1 chambers? im trying not to change much in the engine due to the issues with the warranty and stuff, but i definetly want it louder, also does anyone know if these 1 chambers sound nice, or if they sound like crap? thanks again, you can email me at apowers0@bellsouth.net

Don't get them. They won't even fit on your car without modifying the pipes. They have a center in/center out configuration as aposed to the offset in/offset out. If you want loud, just get a off-road H-pipe.

no offense, but why do you want your car louder? 1 chamber flows would prob. hurt flow due to the bends you would have to have, not to mention make it a cop magnet.

1 chambers on a daily driver i presume?? nah..you'll HATE it. My dad has them on his 13:1 bbc in his chevelle and it's so loud it hurts your chest and kills your ears while driving it. your ears have like a ringing sound in them like 20 minutes after getting out of it. Plus 1 chambers only sound good on "built" motors. On a stock vehicle their gonna sound horrible. Trust me.

You can get MIL eliminators (they fool the computer into thinking it is getting the proper feedback from the 02 sensors), with an offroad pipe so the Check Engine light doesn't come on. If you have any warranty issues it only takes 10 minutes to change the H-pipe back to the stock one.
