Cool I want to get up to "SPEED"

Well I have a 98 GT. STOCK as hell and was wondering if I could get some suggestions on some farily inexpensive mods to just get things rolling in hopes to one day have a really nice AMERICAN machine!

Talking

1. FRPP Gears(3.73 or 4.10)-$190+ install
2. BBK or Bassani Off-road or Hi-flow H(or X)-pipe-$180-$410
3. Steeda or ASP underdrive pulleys-$180
4. Steeda timing adjuster-$160
5. Pro 5.0 or Steeda Tri-ax short-throw shifter-$180
5. K&N Air filter-$50

These are about the only worth-while, affordable mods that will make a difference.

Then there is the '99 intake/head swap that will run you about $1000 in parts and about $750 for the install, but will gain you about 35hp. Well worth it.

Beyond that is supercharging($2800+) or Nitrous($550+)...

Not worth-while(N/A hp wise) but inexpensive mods include:
1. Aftermarket throttle body
2. C&L or Pro-M Mass Air Meter
3. Cold air kit
4. Aftermarket cat-back
5. Headers(also a PITA to install)

Things not to get:
1. Superchip, Diablo chip, or any other chip claiming 25hp. The only chip to get is a dyno tuned chip or JMS chip.

I may have forgotten some things, but this should get you started. I'm sure others will have some input as well.

Good luck!
