Ummm NO, I dont like the gas so far, in kinda of stop and go traffic i can like see the needle change position i swear i only got 30 miles from half a tank to quarter and thats stayin under 45 cause i have to break the gears in

Oh my, I guess that gas thing is going to be a bit of an issue. Heck, if you're guzzling gas at that rate it's cost effective to get rid of those 4.10's, and the sooner the better, or spend the money on a little 4 banger comuter car. Who ever said fast cars were economical?? I stand corrected.

Mustangs arent bad on gas really, 4:10's are just overkill unless your at the track alot i dont know what i was thinkin but oh well

Now taking into consideration that you still have stock sized tires, 3.27's @ 70 is 2000rpms. And with 4.10's @ 70 is 2600.

BTW, I've seen many a 96-98 GT's come factory with 3.27's. Check your door code under the "AX" denotation.

M = 2.73
Z = 3.08
E = 3.27

I think many of you will be surprised.

Yep... mine came with 3.27 and it's a 5-speed... but it was listed as an option add-on.

Yup, my code was E, thanks that was very easy to find the ratio out.
