Smile im new

im new and i have a question....i have flows on my gt and i was told that if i bump up my piping from 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 from the cat back to the tips that it will make my sound alot louder is this true.....if not what can i do to make my stang louder i have about a 300 dollar budget

You can get an offroad pipe, which gets rid of your catalytic converters and of course that increases the volume. Of course, this is illegal in some places...

Also, you can do a mod where you cut holes in your flows and weld on threaded collars with screw caps on em. Unscrew the caps to open the holes and increase the volume. Here's how:
