Default Injector Color Scheme

I was at the track the other night and had my hood up. A buddy of mine (as all Mustang Owners are) asked me why I swapped out the injectors (curious if a Supercharger was in my future). I just got the pony (new '02) in March and it has pink injectors on it which he said was 30 or 36# injectors. Sure as poop, all of the other injectors on all other late model Mustangs were orange. Could this be a factory mistake? What size/color are the Bullitt and Cobra injectors? Could someone at the factory made a mistake? How lucky am I if they are larger injectors? With merely a C&L 85mm MAF, I would really see little to no benfit from the larger injectors, or would I? Is there anything (aside from a power adder) that would - umm- kick it up a notch for larger injectors? Any advice is appreciated.

Room for improvement...

I know this may not help because I don't know if Ford changed their injector color schemes with the mod engines, but it has always been as follows:

Gray = 14#
Yellowish-Orange = 19#
Light Blue = 24#
Red = 30#
Brown = 35#
Dark Blue = 36#
*Dark Blue injectors were also used as replacements for the Red injectors in the early 90's, and were said to flow the same, or slightly better.

Never heard of Pink injectors.

Take care,
~Chris

I am at a dilemna. There are such things as Pink injectors and they are 19 lbs. but they are primarily sold to BMW. The ones that I have could be Red. I will have to start looking up part numbers to see exactly what I have. Thanks for your help though.

My 30 pounders are red... With quite a bit of wear who knows they might appear pink.
