Question Just a simple question?

I don't want to sound stupid here, but I'm trying to learn more about the 96+ motors which I know next to nothen about. What exactly does Modular mean? I friend was asking me what it ment, and I couldn't come up with a good answer.

Modular is referring to the interchangeabilty of the parts of the motor between different vehicles. Mainly the F150, Navigator, Mark 8s, Mustangs, Crown Vics all have some interchangeable parts. This was done for cost savings.
