Post K&N Aircharger

Anyone running the K&N Aircharger kit, the part # is KNN-63-1008. Anyone got dyno figures for this on a 99 up car. I am thinking of getting one of these and wondered what you all think of it.

Thumbs up

Are you refering to the one that connects at the throttle body. If so I have one, sorry no dyno numbers, but for what it is worth it feels faster.

I do not have it on my car, but plan on getting it very very soon. It is suppost to give 20-30hp at the flywheel. If we're talking about the same one, its not street legal and you won't pass emissions, but hey, who cares. My concern is that I will loose some torque any only gain 'top end' performance. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Well i got the Aircharger kit and it looks awesome under the hood. I can't feel any SOTP power but i'll try it on the dyno with the stock first then the aircharger kit to see what power gains it's worth. It just bolts up to the MAF.

You will not gain 20-30HP, maybe 10 and that would be very good.

im just posting the claimed horsepower from k&n. im sure its not 30 at the flywheel, but still, it is a race oriented part and wil give more horsepower than a normal k&n air filter

You hear alot about "extra horsepower" from all these aftermarket parts, I haven't done many mods to mine, but my friends have, and they say you can expect to get 40-50% of what the part says it will give you. But every little bit helps, know what I mean.
