Ah, well, tach error; It can be as much as 300 RPMs. But yeah, I think most of us Cobra guys have at one time, been happily revving along and then surprised by that rev limiter. The Cobra motor is quite enthuisastic about making good power beyond 7000 RPMs. NA, even with the okay pistons, you can safely rev it to 8000 (I have a link on this, which I've posted and will again when I can find it), with the proper fuel maps of course.
To really feel it, get a pro-m and open the exhaulst...
