Long arm intakes...are they any good?
Along with a k&n filter, should I get the long arm intake or are they one in the same??? Should I take my stock filter cover off for better air flow?

Not sure about the intake question, but you should leave the filter housing in place. It protects the filter from the warmer engine bay air. You can take the air silencer off, though.

Mas and BBK...is there a particular web site that I should look at to get these items? What is the silencer on my air intake?

Jayson, the silencer is the rubber boot lookin' thing that extends out through the fenderwell from your air filter housing. Take it off!
