Mass Air Meters with Cold Air on 2003GT

Does anyone have a 2003 GT with an aftermarket mass air meter and cold air induction? A tech guy at Brothers Performance said you can't use both on a 2003 without driveability problems. I want to upgrade my meter and injectors for nitrous.

I've seen many issues with cold air kits and even stock MAFs...

Not saying that you would DEFINATELY have a problem, but the issue is fairly prevalent.

My recommendation if you're going nitrous anyway is to throw in a K&N and MAF on the stock system and put the shot of juice on.

Actually I think it would be better to change both at the same time. If you get a CAI that has a turn before the meter and are using the stock MAF, sometimes the meter will not read the entire incoming air mass. However if you get the CAI and the meter as a package the MAF can be calibrated for the bend, well at least a Pro-M can.
