Thanks Ares. The 2 deg of retard for every 50 hp is the standard answer that I have seen on many posts but what I am really trying to figure out is can I get away with 13 deg in the cold weather? Stock is 10 deg. I ran 11 deg in the summer with the 75 shot with no probs. Using the rule you cited, I would theoretically need to retard the timing to 7 deg? (10 is stock minus 3 for 75 Hp). My car runs so well with the timing at 13 off the bottle, I would love to just leave it there! I've read posts of people running 14 deg of timing with 100 shots on stock modular engines with good results.
