Default Mil eliminators

I have a 97 mustang Gt, I put the off road hipe pipe on my car about 2 years ago, The check engine soon light came on the same day, I read up and figured it was cause there were no cats. I wanted to see if there is any reason for getting the Mil Eliminators if you do not car about the check engine soon light???

It only drives you crazy looking at that light and could also keep you from knowing when something serious comes up. The light is there to warn you of impending disaster(ha,ha). You can get mil elliminaters for 30 buck but you have to cut the wires or pay the 60+ for the good ones.
