Question Mobil 1 0W-30

Does anyone here run Mobil 1 0W-30 oil? I usually run 5W-30, but yesterday purchased 0W-30 but I have not changed it yet. Will this allow the oil to flow to the top (business end) of the engine quicker at startup and still provide adequate lubrication when warm?

It will flow much faster at startup especially when cold and gives the exact same protection as 5w30 and 10w30 at operating temperature. Most wear occurs at startup so using this viscosity oil is a wise decision. You may also get a slight increase in MPG. I'm suprised that car makers haven't started engines to use this weight.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the replies. I will probably continue using 0W30 in the future.

I use it and haven't had any problems for 30K miles.
