Default modding my 4.6 ?'s

I have a set of mac long tube headers waiting for install, I want to get a X-pipe with cats. While I am at it I might as well go with a K&N to.

I dont know Jack about the 4.6....Will the long tubes make a noticeable difference along with the X-pipe?

I have heard that the DOHC 4.6 responds well to mods. How much HP do you think I would gain?

I can take the LS-1's to 100 but after that they start to pull. I hope these mods will give me the HP boost that I am looking for.

I guess what I am wanting to know is if it would be worth the cash.

Thanks,

You will walk away from Ls1's with longtubes, an offroad X, pulleys, and some damn 4.10s. With those mods, you should be mid-high 12s on drag radials.
