modular vs. pushrod?

What's the diff between the 5.0's and the 4.6's? I mean a 5.0 has pushrods so what does the 4.6 have?

The cams have followers that ride directly on the valves instead of pushrods and lifters. SOHC motors have one cam for each side of the motor. DOHC motors have two cams for each side fo the motor.

Are the followers all one piece? Can you make mods on the valve train easier with followers rather then push rods?

Thanks, Brian

They are one piece followers but there is more than one follower per head.

Depends on what valve train mods your talking about, if you get regrinded cams you would just use lash caps for the valves.
