Is this much power possable?
My buddy has a 2002 GT. He blew the bottom end ( over-revved it, prob. messed up heads too?), anyway he is rebuilding with Patriot heads probably longtube headers, a better intake (I hope), 9.5-10.0 to 1 pistons, and the bigger cams I think:
CCA-102300 Summit #, 236*/240* .500" or, CCA-102700 """"" # 242*/246* .550" lift, I think it's the first cams, anyway he's claiming the "guy" at the shop says It'll make 330hp to the wheels?? Possable??

Re: Is this much power possable?
With those parts it is possible although I would put that at the upper end without knowing what else is done to the car.

Re: Is this much power possable?
CCA-102700 Summit part# 242*/246* .550" lift
These are the cams he's getting. Also has pullies, 4.10 gears, shifter, subframes, CAI, I'm not sure if he is going up on T.B., or mass air, fuel injectors - pump. Should he? If so what sizes? What else does he need? He's got an Auburn posi and moser axles already(from when he broke a stock axle and crept on down the track ruining the trac-loc carrier) PS I don't know anything about OHV 4.6 motors, I love my pushrod 5.0, but I'm trying to help him not get ripped off. Thanks guys Thanks Jeff

Re: Is this much power possable?
sounds reasonable abount of power but with the heads and cams
hes gonna need an intake t-body to match his heads and cams..a pump and injectors wont hurt

Re: Is this much power possable?
I'm just Wondering about the Patriot heads? Are these made in USA or just Chinese knock off's? Don't have anything against Patriot heads, but havn't heard much about their origin or their potential.
