Question Recommendations on mufflers?

I had the flow master 1 chamber mufflers installed today and they sound like $hit and I was just wondering what mufflers sound good and if any one has any sound clips of different mufflers. I had the 2 chamber flowmasters but wanted to try a change to something maybe a little louder and/or better sounding. I have 2 1/2" off road h-pipes and headers.

I've got Dynomax Race Magnum Bullits and they sound mean! I don't know if they sound like a flowmaster one chamber or not cause I've never heard them. My car sounds so mean with the combination of the pipes and a big cam that no one wants to race me.

i have flowmaster 2 chamber's, they sound great outside the car but they have way to much interior noise for me between the 2000 and 3000 rpm levels for me

I've got 3 chamber Flows and mine are still pretty loud with 2 1/2" pipes and no cats. I don't think either me or my neighbors would want it any louder.

The 1 chamber’s have less interior noise than the 2 chambers did but I don't like the sound, they are much louder outside the car though. The sound is not deep anymore and sounds too much like a camaro or a truck.

Cool, let me know when you get some sound clips and if you can get them soon, like before Friday that would be even better cause I think I am going back to the 2 chamber flows on Friday.

The 1 chamber’s are sounding better than they did when we put them on. I don't know why. Is it possible for the mufflers sound to change because it sure sounds like it?

Well..when i bought my mustang I have no idea what kind of mufflers where on it. They were bout 4 inchs round and about 18 inches long?? I thought they resembled glass-packs but never heard of anyone putting those on mustangs. I am going to buy some new ones too but am at a loss at what to buy.

i just posted a piece on the mac mufflers cause my friend has only had his a year and they are already rusted through, my 2 chamber flows are really great, and most importantly after almost 2 years, no dam rust.

My 3 chamber flows are about 6 yrs old now with 28,000 miles and still look new. They are heavy bastards though. I like their sound, but that's just me.

I've got the DynoMax Super Turbos and I like them. Slight drone at 2000-2200, but almost all aftermarket muffs have this issue (i think this is why Ford had two different sized muffs).

Anyways, I like the idle sound and WOT sounds good too. I think they are "quieter" than Flows 2 chambers.
