Cool Mustang History Rewritten

My friend sent me this most informative article that was written by one of his hallmates. This is AN ACTUAL REPORT written by a high schooler that shall remain unnamed...

A moving red machine darting forward from the starting line. Red Lights yellow lights green. All symptoms of a 2001, 3.8L, twin cam, duel overhead shaft, Mustang with Three prong Tri-star “pony rims” that your ready to be moved.

(ummmmm......okkkkkk)

This “Moving Red” Mustang has 136 horsepower and on average runs 14lbs of torque and three pounds of boost.

(did you guys know stock 3.8Ls came boosted??? And all this fuss over the 99 and up sixes...I can't understand since according to Mr Car and Driver, they actually lost HP, down to 136...)

With pristine tan interior, with the aroma of fresh leather still permeating the stagnant air.

(I wish MY six banger came with leather...)

It is an amazing sight.
When rated number 1 in Motor Trend magazine for its handling and performance no other car can come close to it. In its class are the: Camaro (stock and Z28), Firebird, Thunderbird, Z3, 3000 Mitsubishi GT, and the Mitsubishi Eclipse.

(er..Last time I checked, GTs are competing with F bodies, not base models...)

Out of all of these amazingly good cars the Mustang still comes out on top. Ford says, “We cant help but build the best cars and just being the best.” There are a vast number of different types of Mustangs, 14 in all, and throughout the entire gamut there is a standard of quality that ceases to diminish.

(WTF??????? 14 types of Mustangs???? this kid is off his rocker)

The baseline prices for a 3.8L stock Mustang with a hard top is $15,200. It can vary with additions such as a bigger engine or a different body style. One of the perks to owning a Mustang is that they are so versatile. With the exception of the only exhaust system, Flowmaster Exhaust, anything can be added or subtracted to the car.

(Gee I guess MAC, Borla, Dynomax, etc went out of business last night eh? Glad I got to hear it first from this whiz kid)

It is a wonderful car that looks great and runs even better. From the steering to the cap on the exhaust tail pipe nothing can come close.

(Am I dumb? WHAT CAP?????)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA cracked me the hell up!

Whoever that High School kid bought his Crack from, he needs to stop buying it from them, and get some good quality Stuff!

Twin Cam 3.8L????????

Duel OverHead Shaft? Whats a Overhead Shaft? I guess two overhead Shafts is better than one!!!!

14 Ft-lbs of torque, my push mower puts out more. WITHOUT ME PUSHING IT!!!!

Three PRONGED RIMS, man that sounds kinda painfull. Sounds like something from Speed Racer. LOL

Exhaust Cap...Maybe like the flapper valve on a Big Rigs stack, man I should of got that option on my duel cam, single overhead shaft, 30 Hp, 18 Ft-lb, 4.6 Gallon Mustang.

I needed a good laugh. Thanks MustangBelle, that put a nice smile on my face.

Talking

Anybody else notice the poor writing style?

He starts off dramatic, then gets more and more statement like?

I think somebody hit him in the head with a toaster.

Cool

Some one needs to take him for a litle ride in a 3.8, then in a GT, then in a Cobra. It would be fun to watch him crap his pants and wig out. Light Em Up!!!

Now, now. Don't make fun of this person. They obviously did not have a lot for genetic make up as this is definately the child of the guy who wrote that article in the Sport Compact Mag. You know the article with the "push rod 4.6 L engine"

Question

I don't know what to say. Really.

But this does make me feel a lot better about my own 10 page paper I'm turning in this week about the history of the Mustang. Maybe I should send him a copy?
Nah, I don't think he's understand.

If he ever picks up and reads a Haynes or Chilton's manual, it'll pop his brain out of his skull. I wouldn't trust this kid with a #2 pencil.
